Responsibilities:
Directly support one of our Counselors – Investment Advisers regarding issues such as:

– Retirement and other forward-looking planning
– Estate plan architecture; gifting strategies; estate and gift taxes

Requirements:
– One or more of the following credentials: law degree (JD, LLM); advanced tax degree/designation (Master of Taxation, LLM, CPA, EA, CFP); CFA
– 2-4 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, law, and/or taxation – strongly preferred
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: the successful candidate eventually is expected to work with clients, give group presentations, and participate in new business development.

– Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

Sr. Tax manager (hybrid)

Title: (Sr) Tax Manager – Hybrid Work Schedule (3 day’s office/2 day’s home)
Summary:
Tax Manager will be responsible for all corporate tax reporting, compliance work, property tax, and sales & use tax. You will be the liaison with multiple stakeholders, including senior management, peers, and external tax service providers. You will also be responsible for technical tax accounting, research, and analysis to provide management with timely information for critical decision-making. 
This position entails a significant amount of coordination between various groups. A successful
candidate will possess strong communication skills, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment. Analytical skills are a must along with a proficiency in synthesizing large quantities of data using Excel or similar tools. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Leads and support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting closing process
  • Prepare and file Annual Tax Compliance documentation to all relevant tax authorities
  • Oversee tax matters related to partnerships, including handling partnership allocations and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements
  • Develop strong working relationships with senior management and other functions
  • Develop and implement opportunities for process standardization and improvement in tax procedures

Title: Controller (fully remote opportunity)
Summary:
The Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring
compliance with GAAP accounting standards, managing the audit with Public Accounting
firm, overseeing the proper GAAP compliance and accounting integration of acquired
companies, managing consolidation for our US and international companies, financial
reporting and strategically growing the accounting team in a rapidly changing and growing
environment.
The Corporate Controller is also responsible for overseeing tax compliance (with Public
Accounting firm) and managing the insurance renewal process. This is an excellent
opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a background in software and a
proven track record of operating in a fast-paced environment. This position will also manage
a team and participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
 
Responsibilities:
As a member of our growing team, the Corporate Controller’s duties include, but are not
limited to the following:

  • Financial Close and Consolidation: lead and streamline the close process including
    manage the consolidation process for multiple US and international subsidiaries,
    ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with GAAP, ensuring proper
    internal controls
  • M&A: Ensure GAAP compliance and the successful accounting integration in Netsuite
    post-merger
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition, maintaining policy documentation and be the

  • Technical Accounting: Oversee and review all technical accounting done internally and externally (Business combinations, Revenue Recognition, Stock Compensation, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews work on client engagements to ensure firm’s quality control procedures are followed.
  • Informs partners of progress on engagements on a continuous basis.  Identifies technical issues and brings recommended solutions to partner’s attention for timely action. 
  • Provides training, leadership, recognition, and administrative direction to motivate and develop team members. 
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws as it relates to ownership of foreign entities by a U.S. person.
  • Completes performance reviews and provides timely / constructive feedback.
  • Understands the economics of the firm’s practice. Has direct client billing responsibility. 
  • Supports management with decisions pertaining to policies and procedures and brings that support to the team.
