Our client is a leading international consumer products company. They are currently seeking two potential hires:
1) Accounting Manager
2) Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Supervise 3 accountants handling AR/invoicing, sales order approval, and AP/receiving
• Train/mentor accountants, provide constructive feedback, promote professional growth
• Closely monitor AR ledger to ensure customers make timely payments, and claims/disputes are handled in a timely manner
• Manage credit approval process for customers, including US and Hong Kong customers.
• Ensure vendor set-up process is followed, and prepare 1099/1042 forms at year-end
• Prepare cash flow forecast and month-end reports (AR recon, AP recon, bank recon)
• Oversee fixed assets, including additions/disposals and reconciliations
• Manage company expense reporting / corporate credit card usage through Concur
• Calculate sales commissions and prepare payments to sales reps every month
• Process AP invoices and prepare payments weekly
• Solve inventory variance problems
• Assist in audits and compliance issues
• Continuously develop ways to improve procedures and processes
• Lead or participate in special projects
• Perform other accounting related work as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Experience with Microsoft NAV and/or SAP preferred
• Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, multi-tasking abilities required
• 3+ years accounting experience preferred
• 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
